Born and raised in São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro, Joyce Oliveira attributes her strong sense of cultural pride and passion for the arts and fashion to her close-knit family. She began modeling at 18 when she raised money to enter a modeling school by selling her homemade treats. Joyce’s career breakthrough was her first worldwide campaign for Havaianas, which propelled her into Brazil’s fashion scene. Her passion for books and adventure was what had her pursue literature in school. Joyce’s next adventure is basing herself in NYC.
