Kalia, with Samoan and Croatian roots, was born in Redondo Beach and was raised with a deep love of the sea. Kalia's modeling interest began at age 12, and officially signed at 15. Kalia played competitive beach volleyball until she was 16, and still enjoys competitive games and staying active. Fashion is Kalia's biggest passion -- from fashion shows, designing her own clothing, or flipping through fashion magazines. From a very young age, Kalia knew she wanted to be in the fashion industry, whether it was in front of or behind camera. Kalia loves to dream big, and part of what makes her, her, is never letting a big dream intimidate her - it only makes her work harder!
