Fresh-faced Julia was born and raised in coastal California with Brazilian and American heritage. After being told her whole life that she should model, and with a mother who had dabbled in the industry, it felt like a natural progression to start in this field when she was 18. When she was young, her mother took up photography, introducing her to the artistry of the fashion and modeling world. Most of her career so far has been driven by her own connections with smaller clothing brands and businesses. Her proudest moment to date was working for Hot Topic, a job that made her recognize that she has a place in this industry. Julia is studying Fashion Design and is interested in furthering her education in fashion merchandising in the future.
